Mike Weaver had a successful career as defenceman in the NHL, before retiring in 2015. He then started Defence First, a hockey school for players of all skills and ages. As head instructor, Weaver teaches from the defensive side, but both forwards and defencemen can apply these techniques in all areas of the ice. Susan Hay has the story.
