Nova Scotia is actively working to recruit and train more doctors, but it’ll be years before that helps to increase the number of physicians in the province. Employing recently retired doctors – or encouraging those who are about to retire to work part-time – could help, but that involves removing some barriers. Alicia Draus has that story.
