Former Ontario lieutenant-governor David Onley was remembered as a tireless advocate, role model and devoted family member during his funeral in Toronto, Ont., on Monday. Lt.-Gov. Elizabeth Dowdeswell and Ontario Premier Doug Ford were among the dignitaries who delivered eulogies. “A broadcaster who broke barriers and an advocate who lifted up those around him… He was many things to many people,” Dowdeswell reflected in her tribute.
