Visual artist, Wanda Koop, was invited by the international Warming Huts competition in Winnipeg to submit a warming hut design to be installed at The Forks. She spoke on Friday with her creative collaborator, Tom Fougere, about their work titled “NIX” (Latin for snow), which they report weighs 50 tons and measures 50 feet by 50 feet.
