Speaking at a news briefing on Monday, U.S. State Department spokesperson Ned Price announced that Washington took further action against Iran, concurrently with the U.K. and European Union (EU). Price said that U.S. imposed sanctions on 10 additional Iranian individuals, including Iran’s deputy minister of intelligence and key commanders in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
