Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna spoke Sunday about the mass shooting in Monterey Park that left 10 dead and 10 injured, calling it “one of the county’s most heinous cases.” He also gave a preliminary description of the suspect, who is still at large, saying he had been described as a “male Asian.” He cautioned that police have received several descriptions of the suspect.
