Canadian advocates say the government has the power to bring the remaining women MPs to Canada, but no action has been taken. ‘The West Block’ host Mercedes Stephenson sat down with Shogofa Danish, an Afghan political journalist now working with Global News, Heather McPherson, NDP critic for foreign affairs, and Tim Laidler, director of Afghan Support Project at the Veterans Transition Network, to talk about the solutions they feel the government is ignoring.
