Transport Minister Omar Alghabra said Friday that Canada has received requests from Canadian and international companies to facilitate a space launch but didn’t have the necessary regulatory framework. He said the government is now sending a “strong signal” to companies that are interested in launching from Canada, as it establishes a review process and regulatory framework.
