Fady Dagher officially became Montreal’s new police chief on Thursday. He was sworn in as the SPVM’s 42nd leader. The ceremony took place in front of the police department’s top administrative brass, Mayor Valérie Plante, the public security minister and senior city officials. Global’s Tim Sargeant reports.
