Nova Scotia Health Minister Michelle Thompson spoke Wednesday about what changes would come to emergency rooms in the immediate future after multiple new measures were announced. She said among the changes is an individual in the ER to provide "comfort and support", such as offering a warm blanket or water, and working between the emergency department and operating rooms so patients know what is happening.
