James Bogusz, president and CEO of the Regina Airport Authority, spoke Tuesday following Sunwing’s announced cancellation of service from Regina. Bogusz said the news came as a surprise – the airport authority was not notified directly and learned about the airline’s plans from Regina travel agencies instead. Bogusz said there remains limited service on Sunday along with a few dates sprinkled in February, but time will tell if these dates will last.
