The emergency department at the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital reopened on Tuesday after nurses staged a sit-in overnight to protest working conditions, partially shutting down the department for several hours. Quebec’s health minister was at the hospital on Tuesday to say he has called on a conciliator to help resolve the crisis. Global’s Phil Carpenter reports.
