Pierre Poilievre calls out Trudeau over contracts awarded to global consulting firm McKinsey

Canadian Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre held a media availability on Tuesday to discuss what the party is calling the “McKinsey scandal.” According to recent news reports, the amount of money awarded to companies partnered with or represented by McKinsey has risen sharply under the Justin Trudeau administration versus what had been awarded during the previous administration of Stephen Harper. “Recent reporting has shown that neither the company nor the government is willing to explain what the money was for,” Poilievre told reporters in Ottawa.
