The holidays have come to an end for many, but for the Ukrainian community, there’s still plenty to look forward to.
January 7th is Ukrainian Christmas with a celebration being held at Peterborough Square from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The Ukrainian Community of Peterborough and the Kawarthas is a new group under the Ontario Provincial Council of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, hoping to bring Peterborough Ukrainians together to celebrate their culture and heritage.
President Kateryna Sysoieva and vice president Olena Shtepa join Katrina Squazzin with more on what they are hoping to do in the region.
