Ottawa meets access to information deadlines only 30% of time, data shows

Every year, the federal government gets tens of thousands of requests under access to information laws, also known as “ATIP.” Under the law, the government has 30 days to respond, but new data shows that Ottawa meets that deadline just 30 per cent of the time. David Akin explains.
