It is one of the risks associated with living in a winter city along the river, but not usually in Calgary. On Friday, Alberta Environment issued what’s called an “ice advisory” after an ice jam caused some flooding near the Calgary Zoo and Inglewood. As Sarah Offin reports, it’s a phenomenon we could start seeing more of.
