Ford announces $505 million in transit funding for Region of Peel

Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced on Wednesday an additional $505 million in funding to expand public transit for municipalities in the Peel region, including the city of Brampton. That’s on top of the $2 billion funding the provincial government provided to transit agencies over the last two years.
