COP15: Trudeau warns ‘the clock is ticking’ during biodiversity conference opening ceremony

Delivering remarks at the opening of COP15 in Montreal on Tuesday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau warned that, “The clock is ticking, and we knew this conference couldn’t wait until some other time.” During his speech, Trudeau was briefly interrupted by Indigenous protesters from the audience, who held up banners and drums.
