Speaking during question period in the House of Commons on Monday, Conservative MP Jasraj Singh Hallan demanded that the Liberal government overturn their proposed “carbon tax” in light of high grocery bills and home heating costs. Liberal MP Randy Boissonnault responded by saying that Canadians are not alone in facing increased prices worldwide, especially with extreme weather affecting harvests and ongoing supply chain issues impacting food prices.
