The Misericordia Community Hospital’s new emergency department is less than a year away from opening. It’s replacing the existing, 53-year-old E.R. at the west Edmonton facility. On Wednesday, Covenant Health officials showed off progress and as Nicole Stillger explains, the improvements are expected to make a huge difference.
