A new agreement between the Ministry of Health and Ontario Medical Association is restructuring funding for virtual care.
The goal is to encourage people to seek in person care from a family doctor and cut down privatization of health care.
Some health experts say this is taking away a resource for patients that don’t have anywhere else to go.
And already the effects are being felt in Peterborough.
