Asked by Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre during question period on Wednesday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau insisted he’s briefed on all threats to Canada, including potential Chinese election interference threats. Poilievre probed Trudeau about whether he was aware of the specificity of the nature of the threats. The question in the House of Commons came following Trudeau’s recent meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
