Emergency Preparedness Minister Bill Blair told the commission investigating the federal government’s use of the Emergencies Act that he believes the initial response to the so-called “freedom convoy” was “incorrect.” He said he believed allowing trucks into the downtown core was a mistake but added he had come to this assessment with the “clarity of hindsight.”
