Quebec’s Premier said on Tuesday that there are no plans to reinstate a mask mandate. However, François Legault says new recommendations surrounding masks will be announced on Wednesday by the health minister and Quebec’s public health director. As Global’s Tim Sargeant reports, Montreal’s public health director is also recommending mask-wearing.
