Part of the Remembrance Day ceremony in downtown Vancouver honoured Canada’s most decorated Indigenous war veteran. Tommy Prince from Manitoba served as a reconnaissance expert in the Devil’s Brigade in WWII. He was recently honoured with a Canada Post stamp. Prince received 11 medals for his service in the Second World War and Korean War.
