Frank Impey, Saskatchewan Crown Prosecutor spoke outside the Saskatoon Provincial Court on Thursday regarding the first appearance of a woman accused of manslaughter. The incident occurred early Sunday at the Crazy Cactus where police responded to reports of a stabbing. Impey says that based on the evidence collected by Saskatoon investigators, the Crown downgraded charges of second-degree murder to manslaughter.
