Amateur Peterborough historian Steve Guthrie helping families connect with veteran ancestors

Amateur historian and retired longtime CHEX news videographer Steve Guthrie has always had great respect for those who served in the Armed Forces.
In tribute to them, he has in his lifetime written books, articles and created sculptures connected to the military.
He has also volunteered countless hours in researching military history, to help families track down details about the military service of their loved ones or their predecessors.
