Canada’s Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos announced on Wednesday that the federal government, through the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, will be providing $6.4 million in funding to Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami to support the implementation of an “Inuit research network” that aims to improve the health outcomes and well-being of the Inuit.
