Saskatoon’s poppy campaign officially kicks off
Description
October 28, 2022
Saskatoon poppy campaign chair Diane Robson spoke on Friday about how the campaign supports veterans through donations. Funds might go towards helping veterans secure rent if they are moving residences or affording mobility aids, and medical needs and student bursaries for veteran's families. Remaining funds stay in the Saskatoon area and might go health-care facilities, she said. Robson added, "On Nov. 11, everyone should remember to wear a poppy."
