City of Peterborough residents have chosen who will represent their community for the next four years.
Out of five mayoral candidates, Jeff Leal emerged victorious Monday night.
Leal, a former councillor and a longtime MPP for the area, will become the next mayor of Peterborough, and he says his priorities lie in addressing housing, the opioid crisis, and collaborating with Peterborough’s surrounding neighbours.
Noor Ibrahim congratulated Leal on Global News Morning Peterborough Tuesday.
