Andrea Horwath will become the first female mayor of Hamilton, Ont., following a close win in the city’s municipal election on Monday night. The former Ontario NDP leader squeaked by former chamber of commerce president Keanin Loomis, who finished in second. “There is no doubt that we do not agree on everything, but we all love this city,” Horwath said. “Are Hamiltonians not amazing?”
