U.K. Conservative Party Leader Rishi Sunak said Monday that the country faces a “profound economic challenge” and needs stability and unity and that he would make it his goal to bring the party and the country together as prime minister. Sunak is expected to be appointed prime minister Tuesday by King Charles, following his victory in the leadership race after his rivals dropped out.
