Earlier today before the tragic news broke about the Burnaby RCMP officer, our Global News crew was at the homeless camp in Kelowna where RCMP and bylaw officers were doing their regular sweep of the site. The outdoor sheltering site has grown significantly in recent months and the city is doing what it can to ensure it doesn’t become a permanent tent city like in other communities. Klaudia Van Emmerik reports.
