Luca and his mom Kim joined Global News Morning to share his cancer journey. He was diagnosed with Leukemia in January 2021 after his mom took him in to the Stollery Children’s Hospital emergency department because he was not feeling well. That day, they received the devastating diagnosis. Since then, Kim says the Kids with Cancer Society has been there for them every step of the way.
