‘It’s a dark day’: Innisfil, Ont. mayor says after two police officers killed in shooting

Innisfil, Ont. Mayor Lynn Dollin commented on the loss of two South Simcoe Police officers in a shooting on Tuesday evening, calling it a “dark day,” adding “to say our community is devastated would be an understatement.” South Simcoe Police identified the slain officers as Constable Devon Northrup and Constable Morgan Russell.
