Adnan Syed’s criminal charges dropped over new DNA testing results

Baltimore city state attorney Marilyn Mosby announced on Tuesday that her office was dismissing the criminal charges against Adnan Syed in the 1999 killing of Hae Min Lee, a case that was documented in the hit podcast “Serial,” after the latest DNA testing conducted on evidence “never tested before” excluded Syed’s.
