Canada’s unemployment rate fell to 5.2 per cent in September, Statistics Canada reported Friday, amid a modest gain in jobs and a dip in the percentage of people looking for work. This small change in Canada’s job numbers, however, has done little to address the labour squeeze and that has some businesses looking to recruit newcomers from Ukraine. Anne Gaviola reports.
