University of Saskatchewan showcases rare instruments in concert series

October 4, 2022
Veronique Mathieu, Associate Professor of Violin in the Department of Music at the University of Saskatchewan, spoke about a new concert series, "Discovering the Amatis." The university's Amati string instruments, crafted in Italy by the "Brothers Amati" centuries ago, will be the feature of the series. Mathieu said she is excited to perform with the instruments, and added the exhibit will provide an opportunity for the public to enjoy the unique quality of handcrafted treasures.
