Manitoba substance use harm and overdose reduction projects receive federal funding

Minister for Prairies Economic Development Canada, Dan Vandal, announced on Monday that Manitoba harm reduction projects will receive $2.5 million in funding through Health Canada's Substance Use and Addictions Program. Vandal made the announcement at St. Boniface Street Links in Winnipeg, an organization that will receive $300,000 in funding. Vandal said the funding will help community resource programs prevent substance use harm and overdose.
