Canada’s former governor general, Rt. Hon. David Johnston spoke with Global’s Jeff Semple shortly after the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II on Monday calling the service “simply extraordinary. Moving. Touching. Such a sense of service of this remarkable woman. We’ll not see the like of her again,” Johnston said. The former governor general also recounted a story of himself and the queen for which he was criticized for in the British press. Jeff Semple has more.
