Port Hope welcomed a “Run Salmon Run” festival this weekend, celebrating the yearly migration of the fish. On Friday, residents dressed in all pink walked along the Ganaraska River while anglers reeled in their catch.
On Saturday, live performances, wood carving, and more could be found at Port Hope Rotary Park.
Groups educating people about fishing in the area’s waterways were also there for the festivities.
