It’s the 50-year anniversary of one of the worst tragedies in Montreal. A total of 37 people died in a fire that was deliberately set outside the Blue Bird cafe on September 1, 1972. Family members and friends of the victims gathered for a ceremony commemorating the lost lives. Global’s Tim Sargeant reports from the memorial.
