Marci Ien, Minister of Women and Gender Equality and Youth, announced Wednesday $30 million in federal support for crisis hotlines. Ien says the funding will help hotlines offer more resources and support to help prevent gender-based violence. Manitoba will receive $1 million, the maximum amount given to a province under the agreement.
