What the Pope’s visit means to residential school survivors

Pope Francis will arrive in Canada in just a few days. The trip is rooted in reconciliation with the historic visit centered around the papal apology for the Catholic church’s role in residential schools. Matthew Wildcat, assistant professor of Political Science & Native Studies and member of Ermineskin Cree Nation, joined Global News Morning to speak about the significance of the visit and to share his family’s story.
