The Calgary Stampede is wrapping up this weekend and by all accounts it’s been a success. Crowds were close to pre-pandemic levels and even rising inflation didn’t seem to have put a damper on people’s spending. The Stampede has gone off without a hitch — except for another horse death at the Chuck wagon races that animal rights advocates are calling out. Tracy Nagi has more.
