Responding to a question about the cause of passport delays on Tuesday, Canada’s Women and Gender Equality Minister Marci Ien acknowledged the ongoing problem of line-ups across the country and said that the federal government is in the process of reviewing information before taking action. Promising further updates for Canadians at a later point, Ien said “we are there for them, we are there with them and we will get to the bottom of this.”
