Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Thursday during a visit to Kigali, Rwanda that he would “as always” bring up concerns about human rights during a bilateral meeting with Rwandan President Paul Kagame. “We will always remember the horror that happened here in Rwanda as something we have to make sure never happens again,” he added, reflecting on the 1994 genocide in the eastern African country.
