Steve Ecklund and Mark Boice wanted to give sturgeon fishing a try, but they never expected to land this monster. Ecklund described it as a scene from the movie Jaws when the fish breached the water. It’s estimated to be 10 feet long, 700 pounds with a girth of more than five feet. As is the policy in B.C., it was released after being tagged. Catherine Urquhart reports.
