Innovation Minister François-Philippe Champagne said on Thursday he has tabled a new bill in the House of Commons, which includes three laws that will give Canadians more control over how companies use their personal data. If the bill is passed, it will allow Canadians to request that their information be disposed of when it is no longer needed by companies.
