Search of Winnipeg landfill for human remains was a ‘large undertaking’: police

Winnipeg police said Wednesday that the search of the Brady Road landfill was a “large undertaking” despite early evidence that human remains had been disposed of at the site. Investigators coordinated with landfill staff and used drone imaging to narrow down the search perimeter, police said.
